Laura has been practicing law since 2003, with an elder law concentration since 2006, and previous experience in family law. Her practice focuses on all facets of elder law with a concentration on long term care and benefits planning. She has extensive experience in protecting assets to accelerate qualification for Medicaid and Veterans benefits utilizing trusts, annuities, and gifting strategies; as well as resolving problematic issues in Medicaid applications. She is proficient in estate planning and guardianships; and currently accepts appointments as a guardian ad litem for minors and alleged disabled adults in Will County.
Laura joined the Wengler Law Firm in 2016 as a seasoned elder law practitioner, having 10 years of specialized experience.
